Fine.
Here's why :
i - i love and enjoy photography tremendously though my standard is not there yet definitely
ii - lucky beautiful shots make me happy
iii - the 1 years and 4 months old pocket size camera $599 (or was it $699) cannot make it. the quality is worst than a $200 Canon
iv - the 7 years old $1.6k camera also cannot make it. Because ~
- it can only take at most 10 shots at 1 go before the batteries die even though i fully charged it beforehand
- even after charging the batteries but leaving it there for 1 day unused, i couldn't use it again the next day to take photos
- the problem doesn't lie in the batteries. i tried many different sets already but with same result
- if i were to use normal disposable AA batteries, it will only last me for less than 30 shots. Worth it?
- oh, the best part is.. sometimes just right after baking when i'm all excited with the goodies and really wanna snap a couple of photos, the camera refuses to work at all due to low batt or worst, just right after getting 1-2 shots or 3-4, it goes 'diiiiiiiiiiiit' and shut down by itself. Wah seh.. the reaction/expression of me is totally priceless man..
- it has ugly camera bag which stains my white bag or my not-black tops
v - last but not least, because i say I WANT ONE!
The thing is.. i am not sure which one i wanna buy first.
Buy headache, don't buy headache.

The husband lost his wedding band yesterday.

Hb was playing with the ring when he was having lunch when it got lost. I suspected it was because he took it out, played, ate, then forgot all about it until he was in the car.
I really don't know whether to be angry or happy. But i think i'm 20% angry and 80% happy. Of course, i didn't show that i was happy! I controlled darn hard not to grin but acted angry instead when i questioned hb.
And then.. still acted irritated when i made the following statement.
me : where got people buy just 1 wedding band ah? It comes in 2! And i don't think it's auspicious for a couple to wear a different wedding band! *squinting at the husband for an answer i was hoping for*
hb : then we go get a pair lor..
me : sheeessshhh!! Okay lor!
Kekekekkeke.. i was practically jumping up and down inside me!! I had to run out of the room to break into giggles right after that. Hahhahaahahaha.. :P

Tried 2 jackets are Zara last week and i am still thinking about them :P This time round, Zara has got quite a few nice coats that made me wanna buy them all!

The similarity for this piece with the one i am eyeing on is the neckline but the Zara's looks abit better and it's a 3/4 sleeves in chili red with black buttons. Very classy and chic~
The second outerwear that i tried on was picked by mil. Mil loves asking me to try on clothings for her to see, especially the ones she fancies but it was me who fell in love with it in the end. Grrr.. :P
It looks something like this except that it's shorter, different colour, different belt and slightly different neckline + not so bulky. Zara's more fitting.

Er, don't ask me why outerwear..
Nope, i'm not travelling anytime soon. It's just that i like collecting nice clothings and i have this small obsession with dresses and outerwear especially. Lol.

We were invited for a presentation by a hotel Vacation Club**. Not TimeShare definitely. No no no no no! [think Ratatouille :P]
So we went just for fun but mainly because i was greedy. You see, they promised us a $200 shopping vouchers from Takashimaya so i die die also dragged the husband along. Heh.
Bet you'll be thinking, what if they hard sell, lock us up etc yeah? It's quite a risk to take isn't it? I was really ON for it because it is backed up by Citibank. We were invited because of Citibank too. So with such a reputable bank backing it, how bad can it be right? Moreover, they say it's obligations free, no hard sell etc.
So off we went with no intention to buy whatever they'll be presenting us. I know, we're bad! Lol.
However, what was presented was quite an eye opening. The benefits, the rewards gosh.. i was practically screaming 'i want i want!' inside me before she, the sales person even finished presenting. It was a 1 to 1 presentation.
And i'm not alone. Hb finds it extremely attractive too!
You know, whenever i switched on the telly, watching the Travel channel especially when they are recommending those beautiful, awesome hotels, i could only drool and wish i could go there 1 day too.. but i know deep down, i could only wish.
I don't think i will pay so so much just to spend a few nights there even if i'm rich.
But with what was presented to us, it seems possible!
The earlier photos that i saw earlier at the gallery at the place where the presentation was held, the 'i-wish-i-could-go' hotels which i've seen on telly.. they are not just a dream. It is possible to go too without breaking your bank's piggy.
But.
Yes.. there is always a but isn't it?
We'll have to pay a lump sum up front.
You can choose to pay it by installment, be it 5 years or 10 years on monthly basis or if u're rich, just pay 1 lump sum!
And then, the yearly maintenance fee.. which we think it wasn't too much to ask for for the next 49 years.
Uh huh.. the membership is valid for the next 49 years. We can travel and holiday like the stars for the next 49 years. You can choose to sell it off earlier if u so wish. Or you can pass them on to relatives or friends too.
Everything's flexible.
And it's not just hotel stay. You can use your points to exchange for air tickets + hotel stay, cruises all over the world, present a holiday for 2 as a gift if you can't make it that year, or just let the points roll forward then holiday longer the next year, so on and so forth.
Seriously, this is some really good stuff here.
Unfortunately, we said no. Sadly. As much as i would love to. We said no.
Because we cannot afford it now.
We can, if we really so want to. But it is not practical to do so. It will be an added burden.. to me that is, to come up with a sum every month for the next decade or less. Yes, i'm the one who settle ALL the bills every month! Ugh.
So yeah, we passed it just like that. Watching my can-only-dream-but-almost-can-come-true-dream slipped just like that. Heh.
Oh well, at least, i still got what i wanted in the end. The $200 Takashimaya vouchers :P
So for now, it will be mooncakes, here i come! :)
But hor, yesterday night after giving hb his goodnight kiss, i told hb that i will, be going for it when i turn 30... that, will be 3 years from now. An ample time for the husband to earn enough, i hope.

Addiction to lounge bottoms from ON (Old Navy)!
First, a close gf sent me this as my birthday pressie (2 of them) all the way from the States and that, marked the start of my addiction :P
The gf got me the short version, 2 1/2 inch to be exact. With cuter prints too! Indians and some cute cartoon character. I got soooo in love with it that when another gf show me another one (below but in white), i got it straight without needing to think!
It was just too bad that they didn't have it in white by the time our ON spree organiser (another gf :P) placed the order. I picked black instead.
Again, i love it so much that i went search for more of the same kind roughly, yesterday. In fact, i'm wearing it right now! Grin. It's really comfortable, cheap (only USD$4.99) and most importantly, it fits so nicely! Very nice!
