No name bun

Been wanting to bake this no-name bun from KC for such a long long time after all the raves but never got to do it till now.

Always procrastinate because somehow i feel my hands aren't good enough for baking breads :(

The end result was pretty ok. Love the butter taste and it's wonderful to eat it warm with strawberry jam and 2 slices of cold butter. Yums. But somehow it is not light and fluffy as everyone has commented. Instead, it's real heavy and soft (phew!). One small bun and u'll be full.

Wonder what did i do wrong.. hmm..

I need bread making classes! Any pros wanna teach me a thing or 2? *wink* :P

Hi evan!

Scones? Hahaha.. now that u've mentioned it, it does look like it!

Gosh, what pretty good cook? I'm nowhere compare to all your bakes and goodies! *hide*

Definitely making bubur cha cha one of these days after i get hold of the tapioca cubes. We love this dessert tons.

Only cooked it once in a bluemoon because i didn't know where to get the tapioca cubes from. Have always been using the small sago pearls from the dried food section. Silly yeah? :P

Sure sure, would love to be linked by you :)
