Not so nice Sunday
Yeah, there is nice Sunday and not so nice Sunday too. Afterall, life can never be perfect aye?
I think mil is abit insensitive lately :(
First, it was this. Then yesterday and on Saturday, more of the same issue. Issue on my weight, arrowed indirectly.
Initially, i could still laugh it off, finding it amusing. Then second remark came, i was like oh, ok. The last straw was the third comment. That sparked the fuse off. 3 insensitive remarks all within a week's span? Not so funny anymore.
I think no woman will ever be happy if she were to be subjected for her weight issue, be it skinny or fat. Mil herself doesn't, so why say those tactless, insensitive remarks to me? >.<
Perhaps she will only be happy if i'm left with nothing but just skin and bones. Or when i am 45-46 kg like her daughters and herself? And what's laughable is that i don't think i'm fat. Fleshy yes but not fat. So what is her problem exactly? Ugh. Maybe she likes her daughter in law to be real skinny. Oh well...

she's rather insensitive to say it in your face lah. grab a close girlfriend and ask for her honest opinion?
next time, tell your MIL to sign u up for exercise classes lor! if she's paying, go!
YOU ARE DEFINITELY NOT FAT DEAR!!!!!! My goodness me wth 4 sessions of aerobics and yoga each week there is no way u are looking fat... you look like a v yummy mommy wth curves at the right places :)
imp : u know what's funny? She'll always put lotsa meat and vege on my plate, knowing i'm the 'fattest' of them all.. Weird right?
Am already on an exercise programme. Porb she's not that used to seeing fleshy person since her whole family is almost stick thin type, hence her remarks.
Liv : awww.. so sweet of u. But no lah.. these days getting lazier! Only 2-3 sessions per week only. Grin.
Psstt : the other day hor, it's really the pants! I call it the 'magic look gd' pants. It was an illusion tht u saw! *pinky promise!* Next time if i do see it in store again, i'll alert u. Then u can go buy too! ;)
what fat? aiyo, you've said it yourself - your MIL prob. has skinny genes running in the family, that's why she's not-so-sensitive when making such remarks. anyway, to maintain such a svelte figure after 3 kids, c'mon... you know you are certainly NOT fat ;)
don't believe? just whip out your sexiest look good little black dress, put on some make up and sashay down orchard road, I'll help you count how many men's attention you catch, ok?

Nah, i'm not that bothered lah.. just quite irritated.. and needed to vent! :P
